Happiness, like love, is not a feeling but a choice. It is a state of being. Both, happiness and love come from the same place… having gratitude for what we do have and not forsake it for what we don’t. Life does not always walk a straight narrow path but it can surely be full of joy.
I was so down and out, blue skies, they weren’t but grey overcast I encountered. I didn’t want to get out of bed and thought the day wasn’t going to be nothing but a corpse of the walking dead. I fought myself long enough to get up, shower, find the best suit and go.
