I don’t know who this man is but he somehow appears on my picture. Perhaps, he is my guardian angel trying to delivering the good news. If you know who is, please say hello for me. It was nice photographing him.
Day 2 Post 1
Day #2, and my first positive message of this day is that I am thankful to have woken up. True, I woke up before 5 a.m. on a Sunday, and I would have really preferred to sleep until closer to 8, but wake up I did, happy, healthy, and knowing that I will see another day with my family. As I sit by the window in my office (house is stifling hot, and that’s the only place with a breeze and ceiling fan) typing this status, the birds are singing up a storm outside and I listen to the sound of the wind blowing through the leaves of the trees. Honestly folks, can it really get any better than this? I think not. Except, maybe if it were 8 a.m. and it was Saturday instead of Sunday. LOL!
Traveling to Lisbon, Portugal? Don’t forget to stop by the Docas, Docks in English, for some fun and entertainment. It is an area of former warehouses overlooking a yachting marina below the 25 de Abril Bridge that has been metamorphosed into fashionable bars, restaurants, and clubs for all tastes and likes.
Just an FYI, we love to eat late. We start the night with long dinners and bar-hopping because that’s just how we roll and only hit the clubs, live band, fados clubs, until after 1:00 AM when crazy begins. The price of admissions is usually between 10 to 20 euros but in some clubs, you just have to pay for your consumption.
