Lobster, Potato and Veggie

Tosay (1)

Don’t ask for the details, I don’t have it but I know it is food, lunch, lobster, potato, green leaves, cheese and whatever else was in there. It tasted sooooo good, I forgot the fibers. Yes, I did. My friend made it, aka chef of her castle, and that’s all the good ole doctor ordered.

And That Was Just The Weekend

There was something about my weekend that made me grin. It was an exciting filled time, none stop and it involved these. Yes, I was a party machine – birthday, farewell and get together, attended this many shindig, had enough calorie intake for the whole year, I may add but that’s what the gym is for. Most of all, I had fun. Nothing can go wrong with a bunch of women having a great time. No, I didn’t finish it all. That’s what take out boxes are for.

Amore Dinner – A little Ikea On All Of Us

img_0914From IKEA Elly dish towel to awesome aprons, an introduction to our Amore Dinner!

In preparation to a ten day choir pilgrimage to Italy, our Choir held an Italian Dinner party at the Church Parish wall. Let’s face it, we are not event planners but after this one event, we matter as well be. The dinner came out without a stitch and we have none other then ourselves to pat on the back. Job well done!

img_0757The theme was Amore and amore it was: cozy, warm, festive…

We were all “professionals”. So, we had “ushers”, “waiters”, “servers”, “bartenders” and “a band”. We had it all and we had fun.

We needed uniform, cohesiveness, consistency; so, we decided to tweak the IKEA Elly dish towel into handsome aprons. What a concept huh? Voila!
