The Supermoon is a full moon when it is closest to earth. This is an event that has not happened in 18 years. It was a clear Saturday night, a little breezy, just the perfect weather for the occasion. I am glad I was able to witness it.

The picture was not photoshopped. I have the tool but cannot master it. It was taken on January 10th on my backyard the day of the biggest full Moon of 2009. Perhaps, there was some fluke thing going on with my camera as other pictures turned out ok. This one however, is kind of… should I say weird and eerie?! I Have no explanation for this.
