Through The Mountain I am

When the mountain in your path is so huge, it feels like a big brick wall and you are about to hit it. Yes, we all have been thorough the ringer, that little dance of hitting a break wall, finding ourselves a top of a steep mountain sometimes, searching for our souls and resolves to no avail. Some have been there and many will be there one day. It is a given, that’s what strengthens us, what builds character. No one is immune to it but it is how we deal with and the method we choose that makes it whole. It is what it is and we should remind ourselves that we are blessed always regardless.

Day 2 Post 1
Day #2, and my first positive message of this day is that I am thankful to have woken up. True, I woke up before 5 a.m. on a Sunday, and I would have really preferred to sleep until closer to 8, but wake up I did, happy, healthy, and knowing that I will see another day with my family. As I sit by the window in my office (house is stifling hot, and that’s the only place with a breeze and ceiling fan) typing this status, the birds are singing up a storm outside and I listen to the sound of the wind blowing through the leaves of the trees. Honestly folks, can it really get any better than this? I think not. Except, maybe if it were 8 a.m. and it was Saturday instead of Sunday. LOL!
