I mean, if there is one thing I did not expect to find tucked a top of the Alpes in France, is a Buddhist center, Shedrub Choekhor Ling Monastere & Centre Bouddhistes Tibetains Mont Saleve but there it was, quietly and yet, magnetically providing us with one of the most amazing views of Geneva. You hardly see a soul, aka the residents, besides the regular tourists strolling by on their way to the peek, and stopping for a casual beverage and a culinary menu to die for and the employees but what caught my eyes the most, besides the calmness irradiating thorough, is the art surrounding the building; modern and yet effective. It is Art!

When the mountain in your path is so huge, it feels like a big brick wall and you are about to hit it. Yes, we all have been thorough the ringer, that little dance of hitting a break wall, finding ourselves a top of a steep mountain sometimes, searching for our souls and resolves to no avail. Some have been there and many will be there one day. It is a given, that’s what strengthens us, what builds character. No one is immune to it but it is how we deal with and the method we choose that makes it whole. It is what it is and we should remind ourselves that we are blessed always regardless.
So, I have been a way, cruising the earth and savoring delicious goodies. In the meantime, my journeys have taken me to… and hope to share more later!
I said hello to the Queeny and believe me, she replied back… on my dreams!
Geneva was always herself
Bern said pick me, pick me but it did not ring any smile, so we just drove by!
Zurich said Hallo up the mountain. They speak German over there, did you know that?
Stopped by a little town, Baden for a few zzz’s. Loved, loved, loved it!
I am an artist, so Basel was calling my name. Art Basel anyone?
The monuments in Portugal also said Alo and I said, obrigada!
