I have been away for a while, mending a kaleidoscope of life stories and now that I am kinda, sort of, back, what better way to depict them then with these pictures of my 2012 visit to Wynwood Art District in Miami. Yes, it is not Thursday for Throwback Thursday (TBT) but it has been one interesting striped journey.

We are made to dream, to think and like a paper kite, to fly!
We are made to dance, swing and play ball, sing a new song
and smell the bread in the oven.
We are made to be children of the world, butterfly of tomorrow,
zigzagging the elements
running through the forest
gazing at the horizon and breathe the tailored air.
We are made to dream and here we are, dreaming!

At night I write
at night I pray
at night I bawl
unafraid
without care
unadulterated
or pretenses.
At night I let go
of the words
of my will, there is.
At night they are out
calling
wandering
gossiping
only to the moon.
At dusk they chat
exhilarated
to the moon I say
I exist
at night, I rest.
