Winking Back at Yeah

Innocent as the bird man could have made her. Raw about life as raw existed. Clueless as the lessons learned along the way. Fresh out of water as the fish who couldn’t swim. Living her best life, rocking a dope smile, iconic box braids, glitter melanin, looking cool, skinny as twig, ready to hit the world. This girl who barely said hi, had no idea what layed ahead, what life’s roadmap looked like, how it would wink back at her. Flying like an eagle she would, smiling always, on her way to her life’s journey tomorrow, she is.

St Petersburg, Florida

Yes, the sky was this blue, the sand this white and the clear blue water, pristine. You would dive and swim like a mermaid, run free like a crab, fly over like a bird, breathe fresh air endlessly, immerse yourself into the abyss of serenity, the endless frisky breeze and the effervescent sound of the wind. Sunglasses on, you would lay on the ornate groovy beach towel, smile and temporarily forget that nothing else mattered. Just amazing and complete utter stillness of the zen type. St Petersburg, the west coast of Florida.

Chillin With a Purpose

Humm now, this is what I call, chillin with a purpose. Yesterday during my daily morning exercise. Mind you, there are tons of iguanas inhabitants to the lake; see them everyday as I walk by. Yup, Mr here just needed to relax a bit, chill, have his zen moment under the shade, get some breeze away from home confinement as it is Labor Day weekend, and the weird and yet field with gratitude summer winds down. Cheers!
