The picture says it all. I just don’t know what the driver was thinking? That no other car needed to park close to my almighty Beemer? Or I am too sexy for the parking lot. Or touch me if you can. Or I am a Beemer so beat it! Or I am jerk I don’t know how to park. Or I am jerk, this is the way I park and I can’t care less what you think or feel! Whatever it was, he needed to be conscious that parking lots are public meaning, for everybody. They should be shared. This is the reason why there are dividers, you stay here and stay there. One spot per car and not one car per two spots. Humility, not a word. It is the thing of the past!

Let’s Do It Again In 330 Days
Say isn’t so, it is official, the holidays are over! Since, this is a leap year and there are 366 days, and considering that most of us put our trees up right after Thanksgiving, see you approximately in 330 days.
Putting christmas decorations is a walk in the park, taking them down is another matter. Just ask some of my neighbors, christmas lights and wreaths are still up but in some corners, they are finally coming down.
Personally, I need therapy. I don’t seem to let go of mine as they have become works of art, the emblem of laziness in every corner of my house. Taking my time off course, that’s better – my consolation prize. Hopefully, I will be done by week’s end.
In the neighborhood, some Christmas trees have found their own demise.
Abandoned by the time machine.
Dumped like trash. Oops, they are trash!
Finding beautiful corners to rest!
Sniff, sniff, do I miss it at all?! Off course, I do! I miss the hoopla, the commercials, the craziness at the malls, the traffic, the sales, the lines, the fights. I miss the feel in the air, the decor, the songs, the bright lights. I miss the awesome, beautiful, funny cards and gift papers. I miss, miss, miss… everything and nothing!
Yes, I don’t miss anything other than the gifts I did not receive or the ones I did not give, the parties I attended or the ones I did not attend, the gatherings I was invited to and the ones I was not invited to, the calls I received and the ones I did not receive, the postings on Facebook, on Twitter or the emails wishing me a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year; ooff, I am tired!
Yeah, I am done, until the next fiesta in the calendar which is Amore. I should have saved all my red napkins from the office Christmas party, they could have come handy. Hope Santa Claus, oops, my significant other will be good to me. Gee, somehow I smell Victoria Secret and roses, which color it doesn’t matter and an awesome card. I will see you the day after Thanksgiving when corporate offices and gusto will remind us again that it is time for the madness to begin all over again.
The First Baby Of The Year
As the story goes, the first baby, wait make these babies, of the year were born sometimes in the morning or perhaps the day before, who knows for sure, to the proud feathery parents. I would like to apologize for any inaccuracy but only the mother and the father knows the exact time.
The mother was at the scene, aggressively marking her territory but the father was no where to be seen. Perhaps, he was out and about searching for their first meal. Thought, milk does a body good and is healthy for children!
I was out on my daily walk when I stumbled into a gentleman holding his dog, startling attentively at something. The dog in a leash, was too overly excited, freaking out, jumping around, shaking his tail like a yo yo, in a ready to attack mode yet a bit frightened pulling back every second or so.
I decided to check the scene for my self. I wanted to know what was rattling the two.
The first cue was oh yeah, there is something. The second was, what?!
I squatted all the way down to the ground, looked into a bunch of flowers and there they were, mother goose and her newly minted ducklings. They were so cute. I couldn’t contain my enthusiasm and pulled my camera out.
No one knows at precise moment they arrived but I am pretty sure the delivery went well, I hope, even though there were still some eggs left to hatch.
Grinning ear-to-ear, the mom looked extremely thrilled but overly protective of her little babies, the reason why we didn’t dare come close and good thing I was able to snap a few photos.
I did not get to count how many they were but they were a few. Long enough for anyone to write a menu. I am sorry but no gifts were given as the proud parents failed to register at Baby R Us.
