Still traveling through Venezia and since it was a day of leisure, we went our separate ways to the islands of Murano, Burano and Torcello. Murano is famous for its beautiful glass blown products. We visited Ferro & Lazzarini and watched a demonstration of glass blowing and then visited the shop where there were endless numbers of beautiful glass products of every size, shape and color. They don’t allow pictures in their showroom. So, enter the website here and enjoy.

Arriving in Venice
It was a day of leisure with no specific activity scheduled but unbeknownst to us Amber – our tour guide, had something up her sleeve and others took advantage of the break, brought their tickets to visit some of the most famous islands that makes Venice our guide kind had similar trip planned, visit the islands of Murano, Burano and Torcello, the difference is, it was no costs for us.
It was drizzling morning when we arrived at the Stazione Marittima on the west end of the islands of Venice. We parked the bus at the Piazzale Roma bus station, walked pass through a mini flea market to catch the water taxi. Some of us stopped to savor the local pastries, yes we couldn’t wait, and since the visit was previously booked, we walked up to the boat already docked.

Breathe, It is Paradise
Breathe and exhale. Say amen and dream. Take your temperature and stay cool. It is the sun. It is the cloud. It is the palm tree. It is the serene sound of tranquility. It is the quietness. Silence. It is the sea. It is the sunset. It is the red sunset. It is the sun on the horizon. It is heaven. Relax. It is paradise in the middle of the ocean. It is the islands of São Tomé and PrÃncipe in the golf of Guinea in Africa, Lonely Planet and CNN travel destinations for 2014. And oh, did I say that’s where I come from?! Indulge!
