Supermodel In The Making

wallmartAs much as I am not Walmart’s biggest fan, I temporarily set my dislike aside to excitingly parade their latest Walmart Store Ad for the world to see, just because it features my friend’s daughter, a fashion model in the making, on page 21. Love it! Add one more to the line of “celebrities” I know. Proud of her!

In Search Of Made In The USA : Day 1

It was Memorial Day weekend and sales, sales, sales everywhere. So, what a girl to do other then go shopping.

I looked through both designer and non designer garments but as I was picking through each, something snapped. I was hit by lightning.

It suddenly down on me that every piece of cloth I was touching, was “not born here”, they were all “foreigner”, of a different nationality. I could not find one piece made in… Hawaii or Alaska or Puerto Rico or Virgin Islands. They were all confectionated somewhere else.

This is my quest to find a garment somewhere, somehow Made In The USA. Hopefully, it will be a easy search. Hopefully, I will find it tomorrow. Hopefully, I will be able to find it before year’s end. I am going on a scavenger hunt for that one garment. And the search begins!

Christian Louboutin

We look like we are walking on a balance beam when we have them on; like a fisherman rowing on a storm. They hurt like hell but we don’t mind the pain one bit as long as we look good. So why do we still do it? Why are we still walking on these dreadful but gorgeous looking things that knocks our feet out called stilettos? Who cares, the answers will come later?! Who would not love to wear one of those. Can someone please call Christian Siriano?
