It certainly would have made the picture of the day but I had already picked one. Just about a year ago, I entered a post Mother Nature And Her Secrets and it was about a big ring around the sun which in layman terms should be described as halo around the sun. Well, it happened again and this time in Central Florida as you can see in the pictures provided to me by a friend. It is an interesting phenomenon to observe to say the least, captivating, indescribable. It just so happens that there is a scientific explanation for it which I learned today and it puts everything else into perspective. It is strange but nonetheless, beautiful. Go ahead, take a peek. Enjoy mother nature and all her glories!

One Plain Yucky Day!
Lord, give me the strength to deal with this crazy weather and wisdom to know the difference that it is mother nature doing her thing. It is summer after all and we are supposed to get rain often but now, I am not even going to say please because you overstayed your graces. Yes, the lawn is smiling but soaking wet. The grass covered in butterflies, lizards, bees, spiders hanging from afar – yes far, is getting so high that it screams, help me, help me. So we, united in the same common ground, delightfully urges the rain to hit the road, just pack up and go for a few days, give us sometime to breathe. We love you, we need you but it has been days. We need to see the sun because it is just plain yucky!

Somewhere Over Spain
On my way to the city of Bilbao, the capital of the province of Biscay in the autonomous community of the Basque Country. I don’t recall Spain being that mountainous then again, if my geography classes are any recollection, the Pyrénées are there.
