Merry Christmas, Switzerland!

They are not big on light or Chrismas decor here. So, I was surprised to se this display and could not wait to share it with you. Perhaps that energy bill at the end of the month is really important to them. There are very few and they are very poised, reserved about the whole Christmas shindig. Not as commercialized as one would think. As a matter of fact, I only saw them rushing to the supermaket on the 24th. It was crowded but not as busy and everyone was on their best behavior.

Venice, Four Weeks Ago!

I was just in Venice four weeks ago with a group of friends and I am transfixed by what I see happening. It looks awful and all I can say, we were lucky. Glad we went when we did and hope the people we met are safe. What worries me are the relics underground at Piazza San Marco, Basilica di San Marcos, Torre dell’Orologio… Just wow, major WOW… It is amazing what mother nature can do.

When in Venice, you must ride one of those, gondolas!

Famous Hotel Concordia. I can image all the products in Pauly & C. are probably under water.

Biking Around Town

I was strolling down the famous Lincoln Road, Miami Beach the other day when I came across this perfect picture. How better way to show love for your animal than take him for a drive?! Didn’t read much into the owner’s stare but it looks like the dog was having fun. Look how comfortable he appears on the bike? I wonder what his name is!

In the meantime, this is my neighbor, not really, she lives around the hood, on her daily routine. I wonder what her name is!

Biking is good for the traffic and gas but it can also be, one mean killer machine!
